Veterans Helping Veterans
For more than a decade, local peer support group Veterans Helping Veterans has been meeting weekly to provide support to one another.
While VHV has been populated mostly by Vietnam veterans, they have extended an invitation to veterans of all ages, regardless of MOS or unit in which a veteran has served.
VHV serves as a supportive community for veterans who may be struggling with recurring images and troubling thoughts from service. This community is understanding, supportive, welcoming and absolutely non-judgmental. Let them listen to you.
For over a decade now, Veterans Helping Veterans have been meeting in private settings to give space and support to those who need to share their experiences.

The group meets every Tuesday morning 10:00-11:30 am at the Greenland Veterans building at 376 Portsmouth Avenue, Greenland. The building provides privacy to continue their confidential discussions, many of which they have never shared outside of the group.
